Reality as is

It's the 8th of September, 2025, and here is that guy who complains about everything complains about something yet again.

"Look isn't this obvious" no it is not and there is no reason to pretend that it is.

When it comes to communication the most important thing is probably to be able to communicate with one another, and to do that all parties must be able to understand all the other perspectives. That may not be true for you but this is the idea that this rant is going to be following.

There are people who tries to convince others that if there is enough of a difference between you and someone else, you should simply leave that someone else be. And frankly it sounds so so outrageous to the point where it feels like that shouldn't be the case, nobody would ever actually think in such a way, but reality says otherwise.

If you want to argue what's reality and what's not then I'm sorry to inform you that you are not the audience of this, nor am I talking about you, because I'm talking about people who sees reality as is, that it is as simple as it gets, that it literally cannot be argued against.

This happens from things like the colour of the sky to if a food tastes bad, from religion to the best way to design a program, all sorts of things, opinions or facts, are all treated as if they are just facts, to the point where you would better hope that they aren't actually blind so that they can understand that their fact was in fact not a fact.

And what makes it terrible is when they actually apply it to everyone else in a way that disregards how these everyone else thinks. Now one can always make an exception of this, that some things are simply that much important than everything else, but if one digs deeper they realised that they think like this for literally everything.

It's always very simple too, now as someone who has dealt with plenty of software and people, I do understand that simple things are just easier to work with, and that in many cases one simply want things to be easier to work with, and that's completely fine. What's not fine is when people try to pretend that everything is as simple as you see, and more so that everyone else must think in the same way too, because the easiest way for them to handle people is to treat them as if they all function/think the same way, so for them they are trying to treat people as if they are obstacles that gets in their way, and to communicate with people is just a means to pretend that they also see things as simple as it gets always.

So what would end up happening is that their desire of making things simple actually makes everything much more difficult to be tackled, so like with learning anything, if there ever is anything that ignores what they already think is the sole truth, there is no way they would be able to even accept it as an opinion that can be formed, let alone a "reality" of someone.

It isn't to say that we must all accept that everyone has their own version of reality, in fact I'd say that it is the opposite that we should try to promote, but to pretend as if what a person has perceived is solely untrue for the sake of it being untrue is a sign of someone not actually caring about what others have said in any extent, even if one disagrees with it completely they still need to understand what the other has said in order to be able to disagree with it, yet there are a lot of people who prefer seeing the one saying words that they don't want to accept as blatant lies, or words that should not he bothered with just because of how it sounds to them.

What's interesting is that there is a mutual focus on reality, so as long as one can make them see the reality that they would see as is, most of the time it wouldn't be hard to convince them otherwise.

Now one can only hope that there isn't something that is difficult to make a reality the reality for one reason or another, especially not when the reason that that's difficult has to do with something that isn't directly noticable in reality. At that point it would truly feel like explaining quantum physics to a cow desperately hoping that the cow understands it.
