Being a Listener

It's always more fun to listen to a conversation than to engage in the conversation itself. Talking requires way more energy compared to listening, which one of them uses the mouth and the other uses the ear.

It's also more flexible: you can choose to stop listening at any time, but if you just stopped talking in the middle of nowhere you'd be considered as rude, and you don't have to be afraid that you don't know how to continue with the conversation - those who are talking does that for you.

Being on a different perspective is also a plus, with talking it's hard (not impossible) to think of other's perspectives, or sometimes the perspectives may be overlooked or ignored.

Now I'm not saying talking is bad or cringe, it's just that often times people only remember to talk instead of listen, and trust me, listening is fun :)
